When sin came into existence it caused sorrow to enter into our lives and separated us from God, but when Jesus redeemed us it restored the bridge back to God. Now we have a gateway back to the presence of God through the sacrifice of Jesus. "Come to the mercy seat, fervently kneel; here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your anguish. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal."
